StorKCraft Deluxe Glider Rocker Review
This StorkCraft Deluxe Glider Rocker review is from a grandfather of 4 grandkids and 1 great grandbaby and I am a big guy 6′ 5″ tall and weigh just under 300 pounds. So that is why I am writing this review as I happen to be qualified to do so.
I have a large family and it seems like there is always another baby either on the way or a few months old. In fact my son and his wife are expecting their second baby in a few months. My oldest granddaughter has her 4 month old baby boy and my niece who lives in our Granny unit next door has her 3 month old bouncing baby boy. So I have had plenty of experience in rocking babies to sleep over the years and a lot more here recently.
We had a StorkCraft Glider before and they are great for smaller people. By that I mean your average size adult not the land of the giant types like myself and some of my other family members. The gliders have always been a tight squeeze for me. I would spend most of my time rocking the babies standing up then try sitting in the glider.
But that all change here recently. My niece who lives next door, recieved a StorkCraft Deluxe Glider Rocker and Ottoman as a baby shower gift from her grandmother (my mom). Now my niece is 5′ 11″ and her husband is 6′ 4″ and skinnier than I am by 100 pounds. They had shopped around for a glider even tried a few at the baby stores but hadn’t decided on one because they all seemed small to them. Then they got the Deluxe from my mom and they absolutely love it!
I can always tell when they are using it. I can hear the baby being fussy or crying and a few minutes later don’t hear a sound. That silence comes from a happy baby either being rocked to sleep or just chillin with mom or dad rockin in the chair. I have tried the glider myself and even at my size it’s very comfortable. They have it in their living room so when they aren’t using it to rock the baby and I sit in it when I go over there.
I’m thinking about replacing an old comfortable recliner we have and getting the StorkCraft Deluxe Glider Rocker and Ottoman for our house and not for just when the babies are here.
